Today, here is a handy step by step guide for you on how to light your gel lamp safely.

– STEP 1 –
Fill the dish in the centre of your gel lamp carefully, roughly 2/3 capacity with a good quality outdoor gel oil. Here we are using Firedragon.
– STEP 2 –
To ignite the flame carefully place a long lit match or lighter so it comes into contact with the gel fuel, taking care not to burn yourself!
– STEP 3 –
Enjoy the lovely glow that your gel lamp now creates!
– STEP 4 –
To extinguish, simply place the provided snuffer over the flame.
You can wear safety gloves for extra protection.
Leave the gel lamp to cool before moving.
Top Tip – The lamp can get rather warm, so it can be good practice to place a heat resistant mat under your lamp to avoid marks on your table.
