Our Barrettine Citronella lamp and torch oil is a paraffin oil based on natural citronella extracts, for outdoor use only and is suitable for all wick types.

Can be used for our entire range of garden oil torches.

Citronella torch oil is pale yellow which when burned releases a characteristic lemony scent. It may act as a natural insect deterrent. Some customers choose this oil solely for the nice aroma that it produces.

Directions for use: Follow the lamp manufacturers instruction. Do not overfill the oil lamp or torch before lighting. Allow 10 - 15 minutes for the wick to absorb the oil before lighting.

Material & Care

Material

Material: 1-litre bottle of Citronella Oil. Citronella is a naturally occurring essential oil derived from plant matter. When burned, citronella releases a pleasant lemon-like scent that may act as a deterrent to insects, including biting insects such as gnats, midges, and mosquitoes.

Care

Safety: Citronella oil is for outdoor use only. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Keep the open flame away from flammable objects. Place a heat-resistant mat under the lamp if placed on a table. Do not move the lamp whilst it is lit or hot; allow it to cool completely before handling.
