Material & Care

Material

Handcrafted from solid suar wood (also known as rain tree) — a durable and striking live-edge hardwood from Indonesia with striking natural grain patterns and organic hues, known for its distinctive 'tree trunk' style.
A fast-growing wood that is actively replanted after harvesting, making suar a sustainable and non-endangered material choice.
As a natural material, variations in colour, grain and texture are perfectly normal — every piece is entirely its own.
The legs have small metal button feet which will prevent the stool from leaving indents or marks on wood or lino floors.

Care

Cleaning: Clean gently using a dry or slightly damp cloth and dry immediately afterwards. Remove spills promptly to help prevent staining. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
Maintenance: Keep away from direct sunlight, excessive heat and moisture to preserve the integrity of the suar. Suitable for indoor or covered outdoor use only.
