Material

• The seat is hand-woven from natural rattan — a solid, smooth-stemmed vine harvested from tropical forests — producing a clean, classic wicker finish in warm honey and light caramel tones that complements both traditional and contemporary interiors.
• Rattan is one of the most sustainable materials in furniture production: a fast-growing climbing palm that regenerates naturally after harvesting, without the need to fell the host plant or surrounding forest.
• The natural rattan seat is beautifully complemented by the teak frame. Handcrafted from solid teak — a premium hardwood renowned for its strength, durability and beautiful grain — the frame is naturally hard-wearing and resilient, ideally suited to both outdoor and indoor use, and offers timeless style with exceptional longevity.
• The teak has been sustainably sourced from legal, regulated government plantations via FLEGT-certified suppliers, in compliance with the EU Timber Regulation (EUTR), ensuring the wood originates from a renewable and responsibly managed source.
• As this piece is handmade from natural materials, variations in colour and grain across both the seat and frame are perfectly normal — each chair is wonderfully individual.

Care

• Cleaning: Clean gently using a dry or slightly damp cloth and dry immediately afterwards. A very soft brush may be used with care. Remove spills promptly to help prevent staining. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
• Maintenance: Keep away from direct sunlight, excessive heat and moisture to preserve the integrity of the weave. Suitable for indoor or covered outdoor use only.
