Handmade with natural rattan and teak wood this on trend lounger chair is great for any part of the home, whether it be indoors or outside.

This wooden chair can be used both indoors and outside. As the chair is made with a natural rattan, it should be taken indoors or placed under cover away from the natural elements when the furniture is not being used. The teak wood will over time, fade to a lovely soft grey/silver when used outdoors. In order to maximise longevity of these chairs when used outside we reccomend they are brought indoors during the winter months.

Material & Care

Material

The seat is hand-woven from natural rattan — a solid, smooth-stemmed vine harvested from tropical forests — producing a clean, classic wicker finish in warm honey and light caramel tones that complements both traditional and contemporary interiors.
Rattan is one of the most sustainable materials in furniture production: a fast-growing climbing palm that regenerates naturally after harvesting, without the need to fell the host plant or surrounding forest.
The natural rattan seat is beautifully complemented by the teak frame. Handcrafted from solid teak — a premium hardwood renowned for its strength, durability and beautiful grain — the frame is naturally hard-wearing and resilient, ideally suited to both outdoor and indoor use, and offers timeless style with exceptional longevity.
The teak has been sustainably sourced from legal, regulated government plantations via FLEGT-certified suppliers, in compliance with the EU Timber Regulation (EUTR), ensuring the wood originates from a renewable and responsibly managed source.
As this piece is handmade from natural materials, variations in colour and grain across both the seat and frame are perfectly normal — each chair is wonderfully individual.

Care

Treatment: The teak wood is supplied untreated and natural. We recommend applying a wood preservative designed for outdoor use to help maintain its original colour and provide protection. If left untreated, the wood will weather naturally to its characteristic silver-grey hue.
Care: Teak is naturally moisture resistant, making it ideal for outdoor use. However, we recommend using furniture covers or storing in a sheltered area during prolonged periods of poor weather to extend its lifespan.
Cleaning: Clean occasionally with a soft brush or cloth and mild soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry naturally.
