Still hand crafted from the same natural materials and with the same charm and timeless appeal, this updated 'Lola' features a more substantial 'whole kubu' wicker construction for added structural support and durability.

Material

This stylish kitchen stool complements any interior; the solid mango wood frame provides a warm, grounded base for the seat, which is hand-woven from whole natural kubu rattan — a high-quality, thick and tightly woven wicker in a rich earthy palette that delivers a hard-wearing, substantial finish built for frequent everyday use.
Kubu rattan is one of nature's most sustainable materials: fast-growing, self-regenerating and harvested without deforestation.
The frame has been handcrafted from solid mango wood — a durable hardwood prized for its beautiful grain and warm tones, ranging from light golden brown to rich earthy shades, creating a timeless and versatile aesthetic.
The mango wood frame is sustainably sourced and eco-friendly: mango trees are harvested only once their fruit-bearing lifespan is complete, with new trees replanted in their place — making mango wood a genuinely valuable by-product of the fruit industry.
As this piece is handmade from natural materials, variations in colour and grain across both the seat and frame are perfectly normal — no two pieces are exactly alike.

Care

Cleaning: Clean gently using a dry or slightly damp cloth and dry immediately afterwards. Remove spills promptly to help prevent staining. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
Maintenance: Keep away from direct sunlight, excessive heat and moisture to preserve the integrity of the weave. Suitable for indoor or covered outdoor use only.
